More than a couple, when they dance they transform themselves into a single spirit to express desire, passion, love and sadness. Their performance has been enthusiastically embraced by audiences and presenters the world over. Thus they were able to achieve recognition in the world of Argentine Tango receiving outstanding nationwide reviews from the critics.
Roxana
& Fabian are taking their art to many countries, performing and teaching
tango in United States, Canada, Uruguay, Cuba, Dominican Republic , Japan,
Europe
and Argentina where they have appeared in many of the fabled dance halls
of their native Buenos Aires as Palais
de Glace, Astral Theatre, La Confiteria del Molino & Esquina
Homero Manzi.
Fabian Belmonte & Roxana Callegari,
both born in Buenos Aires, Argentina; like the Tango itself. Since their
childhood, their heart ‘ve beat to the Tango rhythm. They’re
raised from a very tender age to live and breathe the Tango culture.
They've performed as soloist
couple with most major American symphony orchestras as the Kalamazoo,
Washington DC,
Laval,
Sudbury,
Buffalo, Billings & Windsor.
The couple recently made a TV appearance on a co-production of CBC TV CANADA and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, at the Nature of Things with Host David Suzuki in a documentary titled "The Emotional Brain-Love", where their tango performance was the perfect metaphor of passion thru the all TV program aired on May, 2005.
In
September 2003 at the Roy Thompson Hall, they received the: *"2003
Latin American Achievement Award" for "Best Latin Folklore
Presence in Canada"
They have produced their own show “Gold Tango Show” 2000 and 2001.

& Fabian have been engaged as choreographers and dancers for the
production of two

also they have danced for the

Tuxedo”,
a Steven
Spielberg's DreamWorks
production starring
Jackie Chan

Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The couple was chosen as one of Argentina's tango ambassadors to the world and invited to judge the First and Second World Tango Competitions in Tokyo in 2005 and 2006.
