Keep your calendars open for "Tapas and Tango on the Bay". This West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation gala event is being held from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the Charles W. Stockey Centre. Performing will be Fabian and Roxana, dancing in the Argentinean tradition. There will be a live and silent auction featuring an original woodblock print from celebrity cottager Doris McCarthy, the unique Muskoky Chair -- designed and crafted locally from hockey sticks -- adventurous trips plus much, much more. Tapas (Latin finger food) will be served all evening and complementary wine/beer. The evening promises to be unique and exciting; an evening you do not want to miss. Tickets are $75/person, with a $30/person tax receipt and available at the Stockey Centre or Foundation office. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts Fundraised through the performance, dance and silent auction will support the foundation's Electronic Records Campaign.
