About the Instructors (back to menu) They both born in Buenos Aires, Argentina; like the Tango itself. Since their childhood, their heart ‘ve beat to the Tango rhythm. They’re raised from a very tender age to live and breathe the Tango culture. More than a couple, when they dance they transform themselves into a single spirit to express desire, passion, love and sadness. They are well know for their energetic live performances, interpretative unique style, complex & precise footwork, great improvisation and their ability on the dance floor. Fabian's expert tango knowledge covers not only dance, but music and history. Their performance has been enthusiastically embraced by audiences and presenters the world over thus they were able to achieve recognition in the world of Argentine Tango receiving outstanding nationwide reviews from the critics. Roxana & Fabian have also performed and taught internationally over the past 20 years taking their art to many countries, United States, Canada, Uruguay, Cuba, Dominican Republic , Europe , Japan and Argentina. They were chosen as one of the best Argentine tango dancers ambassadors around the world to judge the First and Second World Tango Competition in Japan, Tokyo '05 & ‘06. The' ve performed at the show "TANGO LIBERTAD" in Tokyo, Japan among selected tango dancers as Miguel Angel Zotto. They've performed as soloist couple with most major American symphony orchestras in Canada and USA as the Kalamazoo, Washington DC, Laval, Sudbury, Buffalo & Windsor. The couple recently made a remarkable TV appearance on a co-production of CBC TV CANADA and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, at the Nature of Things with Host David Suzuki in a documentary titled "The Emotional Brain-Love", where their tango performance was the perfect metaphor of passion thru the all TV program aired on May, 2005. One of the most important recognition , took place at the prestigious Roy Thompson Hall Theatre, Toronto, where they received *"2003 Latin American Achievement Award" for *"Best Latin Folklore Presence in Canada" As
a result they are in high demand as teachers and performers to share

Private Lessons (back to menu) Private
Lessons are taught by both instructors Roxana & Fabian. Saturday evening, March 29th Sunday morning and noon before group lessons, March 30th Lessons will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. $100 (1 hr. private lesson/couple or single + cost of studio rental)
_Allow
you to work at your own level and pace. _Mastering
certain techniques, tips on style, polish your favorite step by your
request. _An important step in a Tango dancer’s development is mastering lead and follow that will enhance your connection on the dance floor, the
silent conversation between partners. _Explore
the intricate combinations of leaders and followers footwork. _There is no substitute for working one-on-one with an instructor (Roxana or Fabian) to improve your dance posture, learn the finer points of
dance technique and work on a dance program designed especially for
your needs. _Correct

Advanced Beginners : (back to menu) "
Get back to the basics , add passion to your dance" Argentine
Tango is a close and romantic dance that focuses on the leader and
follower moving in close harmony with the music. It relies on
improvisation by the leader, as it doesn't have the same reliance on
formal structure like other dances.
That is why it is so important to refine your leading &
basics. *basics, *fundamentals,*leading & following techniques, *balance, *coordination, * new patterns

The
man learn to follow (and the woman learns fundamentals to lead), then each
will have a better understanding of the other, an exchange of roles is
part of the learning process for professional tango dancers and teachers.
Learning the both parts helps you to develop a better understanding of the
"big picture". Your view is not as one sided. Roxana
will show woman how to improve balance, posture, grounding, breathing and
sensitivity to the follow role.
Fabian will help leaders to improve balance. New steps.

Intermediate 2: (back to menu) " Mastering the creation of art in motion" Fabian will show men how to provide their partners the room and opportunity to adorn the dance & to improvise & navigate on crowded dance floors . Roxana will teach woman how to the perfect circle (Molinete-Grapevine) around a clear axis to the right and to the left to open up many possibilities within the dance and to create exciting combinations also to take advantage of those openings to display their grace and elegance. Partners
learn to help each other's balance instead of pulling each other off
balance. Learn tips on techniques and requirements for social dancing. New steps
